The most character-expressive Borjomi Fest took place in Odessa

For the third year, Odesa is welcoming Borjomi Fest, held this time under the motto “Your city is your character”.

On 15 June, more than 10 thousand people gathered in Victory Park to beat fiery rhythms on Borjomi drums, participate in dance battles from Sakartvelo ensemble of Georgian dance, ride ocean VR waves in the interactive zone and create a “character map” of Odesa.

“At this fest, we presented a new packaging: 1.25 L for a large company,” Oksana Pankina, a representative of the festival’s organizer says. “Considering Odesa’s hot summer, this volume enjoyed the greatest demand.”

The official part of the festival was opened by Georgian Consul in Odesa Tornike Berekashvili: “Borjomi Fest has a large social element, which helps Odessites learn more about culture of modern Georgia.”

The festival’s program included an award ceremony for winners of Odesa’s People with Character prize and a draw among the visitors for three airline tickets to the birthplace of Borjomi. But the real treat was the performance by the festival’s main headliner, the popular Georgian band Mgzavrebi who were putting the hearts of Odessites on fire till late evening.
