The first free Winter Fun Park in Ukraine is open
When you are riding a chairlift in Bukovel, the chances you hear a foreign language are increasing every year. This winter resort has long become a magnet for tourists, but that’s not the end of it. On 18 January, another new location was opened there: Borjomi Fun Park with two new ski runs.
The new trails are opened both for skiing and snowboarding. And on top of that, the admission is absolutely free, which means that every visitor to Bukovel may give these new runs a try. ‘Our team came up with this project for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts to diversify their favorite pastime’, says Borjomi representative Oksana Pankina. ‘A jolly winter vacation is great. It was our mission to make people fall in love with active leisure. Looking at happy guests, we can tell that we did it!’
It’s hard to restrain your vigor on the new ski runs: they feature Borjomi Speed Check, a speed tracker that can measure and compare the speed of two persons. The winner of the first run was Anya Gres, a popular actress and TV hostess who crossed the finish line on skis at 73 km/hour. ‘I love winter, skis, speed, and to win. That’s why I am happy to finish second in the total rating for the day’, says Anya. ‘I tried to break the record, and although I wasn’t able to do it, you still have the chance to do it before the season in Bukovel ends!’
A camera on the ski run takes the skier’s photo when crossing the finish line. So, you can view your photo on active.borjomi.com website and find out who ended up the fastest.
The new fun areas are easy to find: they are located on the slopes 8A and 12D.
‘It was our first joint project, and during the first three days after opening we could already see the result of our efforts and the huge interest of visitors. The new locations for active leisure attract a lot of guests. We hope that before the season ends, all visitors to our resort will have a chance to try these activities. We always try to diversify vacation in Bukovel for our guests, and welcome such a fruitful cooperation and partnership with Borjomi’, says Volodymyr Yuziuk, Head of Marketing at Bukovel.
The fun park will stay open until mid-April. So, get your family, children and friends and come over to have fun on ski slopes!
